Orders can be stored in books of 999 Orders.
Each book has a prefix that can be any letter from A through
to Z . Do not use numbers for normal prefixes. Each Order book
can be used independently from each other. You can call up all
not filled Orders in A and D and ignore Orders in B and C if
required.
You can also have 600 Suppliers accounts .
The Bizz Wizz main menu has 8 buttons. These buttons have
particular functions. A brief description of these buttons are as
follows:
Button No. 1 New Order
- is for writing a new Order and also adding new customers.
Button No. 2 Load Old Order - is to load an
existing Order and allow it to be edited.
By clicking this button a window will appear showing the last
Order for the prefix book that is loaded. It will ask you for the
Order number to load.
Enter the Order number if it's in the current book and click on Current
Book to load it. If you want to load an Order from a
different book, you can type the prefix before the Order number
and click Another Book to load it. Bizz Wizz
will then display the Order top window
for this Order.
By clicking on the button marked Bottom, the Order bottom will be displayed.
NOTE : Double clicking the main BW Ordering picture will
load the last Order written.
Button No. 3 List Orders
- this will list all Orders by a certain status e.g. all Orders,
cash Orders, quotes, jobs, paid, unpaid or for one account.
Button No. 4 Order
Totals - this allows you to total the Orders
in the current book and also distinguish between particular
months to give you the totals for that month.
Button No. 5 Copy Order - this button allows you
to copy an Order into the current book. If you are in Book B and
you want to copy an Order from Book C or from Book B to Book B,
the Order is copied into the next available slot in the current
book.
How to copy an Order to another Order.
This will allow you to copy an order to another order or an
invoice to an order.. This is done by firstly changing the
default prefix to the prefix book you wish to copy the order
into. Once you have done this by clicking on the Copy Order
button, you will be asked for the prefix book From which the
order or invoice to be copied from, then Type in the number of
the order or invoice. Click on the corresponding button to copy
e.g. order-order or invoice - order. The order will be created in
the current book into the next free order number. The program
will display on the order top of the new order.
Button No. 6 Load Book - this is for changing
the Order book. The book selected becomes the default book. Books
can have a prefixes of A through to Z. Each book holds 999
Orders. If you are BACKING UP ON 3¼ / 1.44 disks then
you must set to 500 per book in setup.
Load book allows you to change the default prefix book.
This is the book of Orders you wish to be normally working on. To
change the book simply change the prefix and click the OK
button.
Button No. 7 Set
Up - Set up is used to set-up your print-outs, their
messages and other functions within the Ordering program only.
Button No. 0 Exit - this allows you to exit the
Bizz Wizz Ordering section.
The Computer Number is displayed over the help
panel on the bottom-right of the form. To change the Computer
Number double-click the panel. The computer
number is used when networking to give each computer its own ID
to stop file clashing.
Current Book
Below the Order book picture, there is displayed the currently
loaded book/s prefix. (This is the Order book loaded) Clicking
the arrows on either side will load the next/previous book. ( The
same as Load Book ).
Program buttons.
In the lower left (over the help panel), are the program movement
buttons which allow you to move between the programs of Bizz Wizz; Diary, Phone Book, Price Book,
Order Book, Ledger, Point of Sale, Creditors, Letter Plus, LH
Designer, Back Up and Calculator.
