All Buttons can only be seen at 800x600 Screen Resolution Smaller is not recommended .
Click Button 1 on the Main menu. This will display a new window which lists all of the account customers. With a new program all you will see is cash customer account No.1 on the top line. Along the bottom of the screen above the buttons, you will see other fields such as phone fax, etc. These fields reflect the data for the highlighted customer. Double-clicking the phone, fax or mobile numbers will automatically dial the numbers if a modem is connected. For dialling setup see the Phone List program.
If writing a Cash Invoice select Cash Customer. A Cash Invoice
is one that does not have an individual account. It uses account
No 1. Therefore all cash invoices are account No. 1. By
selecting Cash Customer it will allow you to create your new
invoice.
The buttons along the bottom of the customers list are:
Select
: The selecting of a customer to make a new Invoice, whether it is a
cash customer or an account customer, can be done by one of four
ways.
1. Highlighting the customer, then pressing Enter.
2. Highlighting the customer and clicking the Select
Button.
3. Double clicking on the customer.
4. Highlighting the customer, then pressing [Alt] + [S]
Add New : To
add more customers to this list select the Add New
Button or press ALT + A for short. By doing this, a customer
input window will appear.
Change:
This is used to change an existing customers record after it has
been highlighted. You can also right click on the customer to
enter change mode.
Print: This will print a list of all customers,
from the highlighted customer on.
To change printer settings, click on the Invoice label in
the top left corner of the screen.
Find:
Will bring up a search input box. You have the option of
searching on certain fields. If Option buttons are ticked,
searches will be done on these fields.
First enter the data you wish to find then click the OK
button. This will list all customers which contain this text. If
you wish to return to the full list press ESC or
click on the Exit button.
Delete: Will delete the highlighted customer.
Undelete: This will undelete the last deleted customer
if deleted accidentally.
Email: This button will allow you to send an email to
the record highlighted. If the email field is empty, you will be
prompted for an email address to assign to the selected record.
The Email address is also put into the clipboard so it can be
pasted. Note: If you use the demo address at
test@test.com.au nothing will happen. At this point all outgoing email
should be done through outlook express, however if you are using Microsoft
Outlook, set the default for inward mail into Outlook Express, so only the Bizz
Wizz outgoing mail goes through Outlook Express. This is actually quite good
because it allows you to keep you outgoing business emails separate from
personal emails.
Load last Invoice:
This will load the last Invoices for the customer that is
highlighted in the list as long as it has been logged as
the last service.
List Invoices:
This will list All the invoices for the record that is
highlighted in the list.
List not paid:
This will list all the UNPAID invoices for the record that is
highlighted in the list. This button is only visible when running
in 800x600 or higher resolutions. For lower resolutions pressing ALT+N
will list the UNPAID invoices for that customer.
Document: This button will let you save or
load documents for the customer highlighted.
Resize: This will resize your screen so that more data
can be viewed. This button is only visible when running in
800x600 or higher resolutions.
Selecting of a Customer to write a new Invoice

Select the customer and a pop up box titled Make New Invoice will appear. You can at this point input a job number, order number and sales tax number if required. The top two options show due amounts for the customer and the third option will Log this invoice as the last service.
You then have the option of creating an Invoice,
a Job card, or a Quote.
Once one of these buttons have been pressed the invoice
etc. will be created . So at this
point, if you do not wish to create an invoice click the Exit
button or press ESC. To continue Press one of the other three
buttons. Note: The last invoice can be delete from in "Setup".
If you selected Cash Customer then you will see
the Invoice window appear with the name ready for
input. This will
allow you to input information about your cash customer so it can
be saved on top of the invoice. Once this information has been
entered click on the Save Button then click on
the button marked Change Bottom. This will then activate
the bottom of the invoice. For more information about the Invoice
refer to the Invoice sub heading further on in this
manual.
If an account customer was selected then the
Invoice will show ready for Input.
Add New Button OR Change Button
The first line is for name or company. If you
are dealing with a business, type in the business name, with a
person, type in the surname.
On the second line, first name. First name
should be left blank if you put a business name in box above. If
you entered a surname you can enter Mr. Mrs John, Mary etc.
Act. Link Box. This allows you to link this
account to another main account or head office account. This can
be used to send invoices to the branches and a statement to the
head office. To do this, just put the main account number in the
box. If an account is linked, an asterisk will be seen next to
the account number.
The next box. Contact. This is used if you put a
company name in top box. Type in the full contact name for the
business.
NOTE if you have only one address use the GREEN address box.
The next box is for the address. Type in the
Street Address.
The next boxes are for City and State. Try and
keep your layout for the City and State line the same for all
customers entered. This is because the Post Code
field automatically reads the City/State field. When it finds a
customer previously entered with the same City and State it will
automatically insert the postcode for you. [If it exists in the
Bizz Wizz customer list].
The RED address boxes are for a second address or PO box address.
Please tick the default mail address.
The next box is for the customers Tax number if
they have one, or if not, leave blank. The next box is Phone
number, Fax, Mobile. You dial the
numbers in these boxes by double clicking on the
label, not the number (eg. the word Fax).
The next box is for Service days. This is the
number of days you wish between services to this customer. This
relates to the last invoice date directly below. The last invoice
box is automatically filled when an invoice is logged along with
the date.
The name of the next two Fields may change as per your
Setups.
Spare 1
(name changeable in setup) This is a general all purpose field for
any spare information you wish to keep on your customer.
The Code box (name changeable in setup) is used for keeping codes on your
customer for eg. you may code your customers by type of business,
or a code number. This is to your discretion. If not required
leave blank.
The next box is Age by M or D. When set to M the
terms will apply from the end of the month that the invoice is
dated. When set to D the terms will apply from the date on the
invoice. Discount Rate, wholesale, trade, or retail. This is for
the pricing discount level for your customer.
The
Email address box is for their relevant mail address, eg.
[name@test.com.au.] Note: If you use the demo address at
test@test.com.au nothing will happen.
The Memo Box is for keeping notes on your
customer and will hold up to 250 characters. Do not press the
enter key unless your note is complete. Just keep typing and the
text will automatically wrap. The Warn check box
is to tag the customer so that the memo will show when you start
a new Invoice for this customer eg {This customer has not paid
his last bill }can be typed in the memo field.
Note Field is like a note pad and it can hold
2000 letter/spaces. This is great for keeping details about the
customer.
If the note field has garbage in it. This can be normal if you have
upgraded from older versions just highlight and press space.
OK: This will save your customer in the next
available free account number.
Document : This button will let you save or
load documents for this customer.
Exit: Will abort the new record.
By clicking on the OK buttons you will return back to the list
and the name you have entered will appear in the list.

Find Mode is used to find
Customers in the list. Just type in the name or any part of the
record then select the fields you with to search in then click OK.
Save Button will save the settings so you do not have to
select each time.
A,B,C > > > Buttons will list all names starting with "A" if "A" is clicked.
