Clicking the G.S.T / B.A.S button displays the Business Activity Statement window. The Business Activity Statement form contains the same fields that you will find in the Business Activity Statement form the ATO sends out.

Some of the fields in the form cannot be edited since they are calculated from other fields in the Calculation Sheet. These fields are coloured and cannot be selected or changed. Note: If the ATO has pre-filled-in any values on your ATO BAS form, make sure to enter these values into the appropriate fields so calculations are correct.
There are to ways to calculate your B.A.S.   One is by CASH   Two is by ACCRUAL if using Accrual all current Invoice books need to be entered along with the default category

Depending on the way you have setup your categories, different fields will be filled in for more information view the calculation sheet.

 The CALC SHEET button takes you to the Calculation Sheet window. This window contains detailed information about your transactions. Totals from this window are transferred back to the Business Activity Statement.

The PRINT Button allows you to print the form values onto a blank page before copying to the ATO form.
If you are dealing electronically, you can print the form so you have a hard copy which will allow you type the totals into the ATO ECI Program.

The CODE PRINT Button will print out a brake down of some of the codes eg. G1,G3 --- G11,G14 ect.

Special Features for fields listed below:
G3, G4, G13, G14: Only put in the amount that is untaxed.
Amount With No Tax On = Record Total - ((Tax Amount * Tax Rate) + Tax Amount) if no tax has been entered, the full amount will be used.
G15: Only takes into account the Record's P/A amount.
T1 removes the tax of the total income.
All the other fields take the total record amount.
Putting the mouse over the fields in the Business Activity Statement and Calculation Sheet forms gives a brief description of what the field contains.
