Bizz Wizz PDA Tools Setup

NOTE: Windows XP ,2003 and Vista Only, Older windows must be upgraded .

NOTE: ' Active Sync ' and  ' Window Mobile Device Center '  will be referred to as ' Active Sync ' in this document.

CONNECT TO THE PDA
Before you install the Bizz Wizz PDA Tools Software you must first make sure the Active Sync software is installed and 'Active Sync' is working by communicating to the PDA.
 

 Install Main Bizz Wizz Software onto your PC
 If already installed check for Updates and install them.


If installing from the Main BW. CD.
select the Install PDA Remote Invoicing button and after the install, the following screen will show.

Step 1. Install .NET Compact Framework onto your PDA   May not be needed with Pocket PC6
Just follow the on screen instructions until compact .NET2 is installed on the PDA and at some point you will need to look at the PDA screen to complete the setup.
If you are asked to select the weather to save the the "Storage card" or "Main memory" select MAIN MEMORY.
Note: If the options you get are    Modify,  Repair and Remove    only then .NET2 is already Installed,  Select Repair if in doubt.

Step 2. Install Bizz Wizz PDA Invoicing onto your PDA  
Just follow the on screen instructions until PDA Invoicing is installed on the PDA and at some point you will need to look at the PDA screen to complete the setup.
If you are asked to select the weather to save the the "Storage card" or "Main memory" select MAIN MEMORY.
Note:
If you get the following error then the PDA-Invoicing software has already been loaded before on the Main Computer, you should also remove from the PDA as well.

If you wish to re-Install go to Add and Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel and remove PDA-Invoicing first.

Step 3. Install PrintBoy Print Engine onto your PDA.  
Just follow the on screen instructions until PrintBoy is installed on the PDA and at some point you will need to look at the PDA screen to complete the setup.
If you are asked to select the weather to save the the "Storage card" or "Main memory" select MAIN MEMORY.
Note:
PrintBoy when loaded has it's own setup Program on the PDA to setup how the PDA and Printer are connected and the type and brand printer.
If installing printer by wi-fi  then Port is set to [ 9100 ]
 

After the Install is done

 Run Bizz Wizz PDA Invoicing on your PDA  
Select BW-Invoice from the Programs Menu.
When asked if to store data on "Storage card" or "Main memory"
Select  "MAIN MEMORY" if using 'Active Sync' or Window Mobile Device Center,
OR
Select "STORAGE CARD"  if your NOT using the Active Sync option to do the syncing.
You will need to Plug the Storage card into the Main PC and do the Data Update that way

When you have selected where to save your data. You will then be told to do an Import so a sync needs to be done Press OK.
Then Press Yes to EXIT BW . Invoicing on the PDA will then close.
The Next step is to do a Bizz Wizz SYNC for the first time
Do not Click No, or you will need to delete the ''BizzWizz_Data'' folder on the PDA and then restart invoicing and click yes.
The  sync will not work if this is not done.
